I’ve dealt with body dysmorphia all my life, and I still struggle with it to this day. Disordered eating (starving, over eating, binging) were also something I’ve done in the past. Along with trying to outwork a bad diet.
I would also become extremely impatient and would move from diet to diet, or workout to workout.
Practicing nutritious eating, having a better relationship with food, embracing movement, and working on mindset has helped minimize the moments of insecurities and doubts.
There’s no such thing as perfection, and only progress exists if we keep moving forward towards our goals.
We didn’t gain weight in a day…we certainly won’t lose the weight in the same amount of time.
And as much as we want our results to happen overnight…long term sustainable results requires consistent effort and aggressive patience.
